The Endeavor Broadcast IT team is responsible for supporting and maintaining the IT infrastructure for the Stockley Park TV production and broadcasting environment. The Lead Network Engineer will focus on designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining the current network environment. This role requires close collaboration with the Broadcast IT team, Broadcast Engineering teams, Production Services, as well as other subject matter experts and vendors. Scope define and design solutions for new and existing network projects and workflows.
Maintains overall network Infrastructure and assigns responsibilities within the network team to fulfil daily tasks and projects.
Plans, documents, and implements all network related infrastructure projects.
Assists in preparation and execution of network projects.
Provides projects and troubleshooting assistance to Broadcast and Engineering teams and suppliers to assure timely completion.
Breadth of experience across IT in multiple of the following areas: network infrastructure, content distribution, VizOne, tape library, Microsoft and Linux systems.

~ There may be occasions that you may be requested to work out of the normal office hours. Produces comprehensive documentation for all network projects.
Consistently at work on time, follows instructions and lead other team members, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.

8+ years working as a Network Engineer
~ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
~ In-depth knowledge of video/audio compression, transport streams, encoding, and transmission protocols.
~ Understanding and troubleshooting broadcast systems such as automation systems, routing switchers, broadcast servers, and video/audio mixers.
~ Strong experience of architecting and delivering network solutions.
~ Strong knowledge of Cisco networking and network design.
~ Knowledge and experience of Windows, Linux Server and Storage Area Networks.
~ Implement and enforce security best practices, including firewall configurations, network segmentation, and secure access controls.
~ Familiarity with network protocols, IP video delivery, and cloud-based broadcast solutions.
~ Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues including network congestion, security issues, and hardware failures.
~ Experience with DNS, DHCP, AD, Linux or PowerShell Scripting
~ Extensive experience working with others and prioritizing and planning work activities and uses time efficiently as well as a willingness to assist where needed.
~ Comprehensive experiences to stay focused despite changing conditions and workload and have sole management of the tasks with some supervision.
~ Cisco Network qualification such as CCNP
Network Security qualification
Demonstrable experience to listen and express thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing business requirements documentation.
Documentation and technical + non-technical writing (plans, process + procedures etc.).
Some experience to adapt quickly to change in the work environment as well as manage frequent requirement changes, delays or unexpected events.
