The Company

I am proud to announce I am working with one of the largest parcel distributors in the world. Currently they are going through a growth phase across the UK. With a world wide operation they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join one of their well established site, going through a recent investment of £2 million to help modernise the site. Working on this site will allow you to work on some of the latest technology and automation in a fast moving fully automated environment.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer you will:

Be working in a highly automated fast moving environment as the site can perform to a volume 43,000 parcels an hour
Working on various equipment including Various conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical components, sorters and more
Working electrically on three phase motors, Control Panels, Sensors, Relays, Inverters

Working mechanically on bearings, belts, motors, rollers, gearboxes, drives
Join a team on shift including a supervisor, technicians and fellow engineers
The Engineer

In a Maintenance Engineer we are looking for:

An engineer that can work mechanically but is a specialist within electrical engineering
A recognised Level 3 engineer qualification
Being able to perform under high pressure scenarios and hit KPIs set on the site

An annual salary of £42,000 with OT paid at 1.5x on the weekend
