This role is a broad & varied one helping to develop effective marketing campaigns across all digital channels.

Roper Rhodes are a supplier of bathroom products with an excellent reputation of over 40 years. Our turnover for FY23 was £86m+ and this continues to grow. We are leaders in the bathroom furniture market with a share of around 33% of the total UK market and are also highly innovative, with a vitality rate of approx. 34%. The company employs more than 200+ people across our Bath office/Bristol warehouse. Our customers include major national retailers, national/regional builder’s merchants and a nationwide network of independent bathroom retailers. 

Our products are manufactured to our in-house designs and specifications from sources all over the world.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for assisting in the successful maintenance & management of our 3 x websites, including:

  • Regular website updates for product launches, discontinuations and ongoing optimisations
  • Assist in evaluating digital customer journeys and digital KPI’s using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, HotJar and SemRush

 

You will be working on executing our content calendar by:

  • Deploying strategies to increase the number of visitors to the website by implementing identified Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) tactics. – under instruction from the Digital Campaign Manager & Digital Content Manager
  • Creating SEO content in the form of blogs and landing pages etc. to make sure the company is consistently ranked high and to grow quality website traffic

 

You will contribute to our ongoing social media activity by:

  • Assisting the Digital Content Manager with the implementation and planning of ongoing social media content calendar across all three brands
  • Responding to Social Media queries
  • Assisting in the discovery, negotiation and management of content involved in influencer and brand collaborations
  • Assisting with content capture and creation of assets for digital channels as and when required

 

You will contribute to our ongoing email activity by:

  • Building emails in Mailchimp, creating reports on campaigns, monitoring, and fulfilling requests from all brand marketing mailboxes

 

You will work with the Digital Campaign Manager on paid channels to:

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of campaigns for new product launches across paid channels
  • Manage our retailer portal, satisfying database requirements and asset creation for the distribution network, individual customers and e-commerce relationships and acting as point of contact
  • Support with business growth strategies and assist in implementing campaigns to target new audiences 

You will work with the Digital team to create reports and carry out research to:

  • Support NPD department with product research and digital insights
  • Work with the Digital Content Manager to provide quarterly reporting across organic search, social media, influencer collaboration, and blog content with strategic keyword campaigns.
  • Provide industry and competitor insights into digital marketing activity and work with the Digital Campaign Manager to create competitor analysis twice each year 

This role requires you to be based in our office in Bath three days per week, with the option to work remotely for two days.
