We’re on the hunt for an Experienced Deputy Manager who loves fun, is passionate about service & is keen to work with an independent South London Pub Operator.

Who are You?

- A Deputy Manager that are hungry for development and wants to become our next General Manager, or just future super star.

- Someone with a great personality who shares the same passion and fun for hospitality that we do.

- You find enjoyment in bringing excellent guest experiences and thrive from putting a smile on both the teams and guests faces.

- You love developing the teams with ongoing training, engagement and love.

- You have a good financial acumen and will support to drive with the General Manager to monitor and achieve KPIs and budgets.

- Other qualities we also value is the ability to bring fun and ideas-a-plenty.

- You’ll also bring with you your previous relevant Deputy Manager experience in a £30k + pub or bar and our ideal Deputy Manager candidate will have food-led and/or outdoor/garden experience. Previous experience working with sport whilst not essential, would also be highly advantageous.

This is a role where you will support the pubs General Managers to drive the business and push to create happy guest memories with the teams.

About The Regent Balham

The Regent Balham is part of Livelyhood pub group, an established, South London based owner, creator, and operator of inviting and independent neighbourhood pubs. 

It is a pretty handsome and friendly local serving darn tasty fresh, seasonal pub food with a beer selection to take care of every palate, classic cocktails and wines to wet your whistle. Due to a sustainable partnership with the local school it also enjoys a large outdoor garden with an outside food offer. And if you're looking for a great sports offer, or somewhere to bring your dog, The Regent's got you covered.

  What we are offering

  • A competitive salary up to £36k based on your experience + tronc + Bonus
  • AMAZING additional tronc/service payments – in region of  a further £8k as good steer. OTE up to £44k
  • 45 Hour working Weeks
  • Additional quarterly Deputy Manager bonus plan of £1,300 a quarter
