WORKING GANGER (Civil and Infrastructure) START DATE TBC LOCATION Newquay HOURS 07:30 - 17:00 TYPE Temporary DURATION Ongoing RATE OF PAY Groundworks Labourer £17.00 - £19.00 per hour (DOE) Skilled Groundworker £20.00 - £23.00 per hour (DOE) 360 Excavator Operator £22.00 - £25.00 per hour (DOE) BRIEF LEGGWORK are working with a Civil Engineering contractor to supply a Ganger for an infrastructure works project in Newquay. The client is looking for a gang of 3-4 made up of Groundworkers Labourer, Skilled Groundworker and 360 Excavator Operator with a background in Butt-Electro Fusion Welding. Within the gang, individuals should hold the following tickets: Dumper & Roller, Confined Spaces, Slinger/Signaller, 360 Operator (above & below 10 tonnes with lifting ops) and EUSR. We are looking for a successful candidate to start approximately in July (TBC) and the position will be ongoing. You will need to demonstrate your previous work experience through recent work references. WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF ME? Overseeing groundsworks carried out Carrying out deep drainage works Temporary works/sheet spaces Operating 360 Excavator machine Bedding in manholes Other groundworks duties as required Reliable, hard working and good attitude WHAT WILL I NEED? Valid CPCS 360 operator ((above & below 10 tonnes with lifting ops) Slinger/Signaller and Confined Spaces EUSR Valid CPCS Dumper & Roller Ticket A great breadth of understanding and practical skill in all aspects of groundworks A reliable commute to work A positive 'can do' attitude HOW DO I APPLY?
