What about the job? Well it's a quality control position, in a manufacturing company.
Based in their busy lab you'll be testing product at various stages of the process as well as being out in the factory conducting start up tests and leading in daily huddle meetings to report on the previous days quality issues.
You'll be analysing results and logging everything on the tracker. This will trigger investigations and improvement projects and you'll be an integral part of the team working through these to eradicate problems.
You'll work to KPI's to measure everything and enable the business to see the improvements. You'll be exposed to all areas of this FMCG manufacturer looking for and identifying improvements.
The job is shift based over 3 shifts, 6-2, 2-10 and nights and you'll rotate over these. Monday to Friday. Salary is £26500 to £29500 depending on the level of QC and Lab experience you have.
You'll need to have worked in a Quality position before, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment and of course be able to work the shift pattern.
