The Company

This MEP Project Directors role is with one of the UK s leading main contractors. They have an excellent reputation and build some of the country s most iconic buildings. They are a diverse organisation covering most sectors of the built environment and this specific role is within their refurbishment division.

Projects are varied ranging from GBP500k - GBP10million in the commercial, retail, and public sector.

The Role

We are looking for an MEP Project Director with experience of critical resilience projects to oversee 2 projects in the Yorkshire area.

Your role will include:

  • Overall responsibility for the success the project.
  • Allocate resources and staff ensuring projects have appropriate.
  • Identify the quality expectations and ensure these are achieved.
  • Understands the contractual requirements of the project.
  • Proactively manage the customer relationship during pre-construction, delivery and post construction, including change management, risk management and decision making to effectively manage expectations.
  • Ensure external consultants (e.g., Design) are managed to enable delivery driving value, customer focus and achievement of the project s objectives.
  • Participate in and sign off supply chain selection process, ensuring that an appropriate balance is made between commercial focus, quality orientation, delivery capability and safety record.
  • Ensure effective records are maintained and kept for project delivery and regularly report on project progress, risks and issues.
  • Attend and lead contract reviews for projects you are accountable for, ensuring accurate records are kept and actions are timely monitored and completed.
