Part-time Accounts Manager/ Bookkeeper

Our client is a well established and small business that are experts in their field.
They are seeking a diligent Part Time Accounts Manager/Bookkeeper to oversee their company banking, invoicing and credit control requirements on a monthly basis. Strong communication skills and knowledge of Sage or similar accounting software are key requirements for this role. The successful candidate will need to have an excellent command of the English Language, both spoken and written as much of the work requires professional emails and credit control.
You will responsible for implementing existing credit control procedures and policies, overseeing daily receipts and payments and reconciliation of bank statements. You will also oversee monthly automated invoicing and debt collection, produce monthly P&L report from accounting software and check, prepare and process salaries and upload pensions to Nest via accounting software. You will produce quarterly VAT returns on accounting software and liaise with accountants on annual end of year reports and Company House filing.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in book-keeping and credit control, strong time management skills to meet deadlines effectively, knowledge of Sage or similar accounting software and have excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. You will also have administrative proficiency in documenting processes and results, supervisory experience in overseeing accounting processes, a proficient phone etiquette for effective communication and team management skills to lead and support staff.
You will be able to work in the office from Monday - Friday and ideally from 9.Alternatively, you will be able to start a position immediately.
