HOURS: 37½ hours per wk – Mon – Thurs 0815 – 1700/ Fri 0815 – 1245 (Overtime hours possible)
We have an exciting brand new position for a Subcontract Materials Handler to play a key role in our Supply Chain team. This role will oversee the movement, storage and distribution of our component parts between MSI-DS and subcontract finishing suppliers. Coordinate component part picking from stores and despatch to subcontractor
Organise collection and receipt of parts post subcontract treatments (painting or surface treatments)
Assist with Supply Chain related fitting operations including, fettling castings, tapping threads, fitting helicoils, reworking components and fork lift activities
Proven work experience as an assembly technician or a similar role
Work at an acceptable pace to meet deadlines, without sacrificing H&S & Quality standards
Forklift licence would be desired but not essential, a willingness to learn as it would be a requirement going forward
Computer Literate – Working knowledge of MS Office, and a MRP or ERP system
