Year 4 SEND Teaching Assistant We are recruiting for a Year 4 SEND Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Tyldesley (M29) to support a child on a one to one basis. This is a short-term position starting as soon as possible. Could this be the role for you? Join our mission to Make Life Kind in the classroom and beyond… This SEND Teaching Assistantjob will involve providing 1:1 support to a Year 4 child who requires assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their true potential. This SEND Teaching Assistant role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they are set is being done to a good standard. This SEND Teaching Assistant job is full-time and the working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break. This SEND Teaching Assistant job is to start as soon as posible and will continue until Friday 19th July 2024. Why choose Milk?   • Encourage the child to overcome learning barriers
  • Work closely with the child to they are achieving their full potential
  • To be Inspirational and highly effective in the classroom
  • To be Passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential
Non-negotiables:
  • Have either a relevant childcare qualification Level 2 or Level 3 or above
  • Recent experience supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles.
  • Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen.
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
