What will you do?
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be an expert in industrial automation. You'll work in a team of experienced technicians, locating defective modules and efficiently resolving issues. You'll work independently, with (remote) support from our Northampton, UK branch, and collaborate with clients to find suitable solutions. Clear communication is essential.

  • Configuring, testing, commissioning, and providing on-site service;
  • Sending defective modules for repair to our repair department;
  • Advising customers on improvement points for their systems;
  • Surveying customers' installed industrial electronics and processing them into risk analyses;
  • Handling administrative tasks within our information system.

What do we ask of you?

  • Completed technical education, in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Control Engineering;
  • Demonstrable experience in machine building and/or industrial automation;
  • Ambition to provide the best possible service to the customer;
  • Sufficient knowledge of Word and Excel;
  • Possession of a driving licence and SCC certificate;
  • Flexibility, stress resistance, initiative, and customer friendliness;
  • Positive customer attitude
