Construction Partner - Cambridge/Hybrid Working

A commercial firm in Cambridge is looking to make a partner level hire to their construction team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong track record in dealing with both contentious and non contentious construction matters in their current or previous roles. The team work across a range of sectors so you can expect a varied and interesting caseload of matters in your new role.

It is likely you will be at partner level currently looking to make a lateral move or at the very least be an experienced senior associate or legal director with at least 10 years PQE in dealing with construction law matters. There is an existing small construction team in Cambridge and you will be responsible for overseeing that team day to day so managerial experience would be beneficial.

Any following of work would clearly be beneficial but not essential. They are already an established construction team with a good flow of work coming in due to their standing and reputation for construction work.

Naturally, whether you have a following or not, you will be expected to be a key part in the business development activities of the firm, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and networking with potential new clients.
