Principal Designer required to join an independent construction and property consultancy that delivers Cost Management, Project Management and Specialist Consultancy services.
As a Principal Designer under CDM regulations, the role will enable you to deliver both PD and CDM services on projects with values ranging from £500k to £500m+, across a broad spectrum of construction and/or civils/infrastructure sectors.
The role offers hybrid working with a connection to the London office.
Ensure projects comply with CDM 2015.
Develop risk responses and plans to eliminate the risks on projects.
Co-ordinate and attend meetings as required throughout projects.
Involvement in business development, fee proposals and building client relationships.
Generate new business opportunities, including securing new contracts or projects.
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a project team.
Degree qualified in a design or construction management related role is essential.
Proficient in using standard Microsoft Office applications and experienced with BIM would be beneficial.
c5-10 years' experience in delivering Principal Designer and Client CDM Advisor services in compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
Experience in leading projects of varying sizes and complexity.
