Empowering Learning are a market leading education recruitment company. We are working in partnership with a large Secondary School based in Sheffield who are looking to appoint a Drama Teacher to teach Drama to KS3, KS4 and KS5 on a full time, maternity cover basis from September 2024.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the direction of Drama curriculum across the school, support high achieving GCSE and A-Level students who have excellent attitudes to learning and a passion for the Arts. You will have the opportunity to lead the school production and work collaboratively with SLT to provide the very best strategic direction for your subject.

The school is looking for someone who is passionate about Drama to provide the very best opportunity for students across the school.
To provide outstanding teaching for learning which meets the needs of all students.
To support the school raising standards of teaching and learning across the department and in monitoring progress towards agreed aims.
To support the school in the implementation of agreed whole school policies and initiatives.
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have outstanding teaching practice.
Have experience of improvement planning.
Contribution to impact on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum.
