Are you looking for a career which is rewarding, at the cutting edge of project development and where you can really make a difference? Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy.
Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk.  Sizewell C was formerly under the majority ownership of the EDF Group but is currently majority owned by HM Government and operates as an independent company. EDF remains a key shareholder in Sizewell C and the business therefore maintains close links to EDF as a part of its ‘nuclear family’.

Your responsibilities will include strategic oversight of technical processes, resolving issues, ensuring safety, and managing environmental and utility design practices. You'll play a key role in risk management, change control, and planning, contributing to the project's success.

You’ll promote a strong Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) culture by addressing SHE-related issues and provide input to Environmental Management Plans and permits leading their implementation once approved.

You'll working closely with the team to understand and meet their utility needs. Collaboration with Utilities Designers, Contractors, and external stakeholders will be a key part of your role. You will manage project changes proactively, identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them. Ensuring client satisfaction will be a top priority, delivering utilities on time, within budget, and to the high quality standards. You’ll also take the lead in coordinating with Utilities Construction teams to ensure compliance with best practices and DCO (Development Consent Order) guidelines.

Proven experience managing utilities for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.

Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

Skilled in using project management tools to drive successful outcomes.

Industry expertise in utilities services, including water, telecommunications, power, and more.
