The Role

You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused legal services to senior stakeholders. Reporting directly to a Principal Lawyer, you will be responsible advising on procurements, draft tender documentation, contracts, and other commercial documents, and advise on commercial law and projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on a role that involves strategic influence.

About You

  • A qualified Solicitor or Barrister holding a current practising certificate, or a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external colleagues and partners.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to legal challenges.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with legal changes and developments.
  • Local Authority experience is desirable but is not essential.
