Reporting Specialist (major construction programme) Project Controls London/Southeast Level: Associate Director or above Location: Reading 2-3 days a week with 2-3 days working from home About the Role: We are seeking a talented Reporting Specialist to join our high respected client who is currently at double digit growth year on year and drive the performance measurement, reporting initiatives and provide valuable project controls insights across a major infrastructure-based programme based in Reading. This role will be critical in building and managing the monthly performance cycle and delivering custom digital reporting solutions. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including sponsors, to understand their reporting requirements and develop tailored solutions using Power BI aligning to the company’s methodologies and ways of working. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and sponsors to gather reporting needs and translate them into actionable digital solutions from the ground up.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative performance dashboards using Power BI.
  • Create, manage, and optimise the monthly performance measurement cycle to provide timely and accurate insights.
  • Ensure all reporting aligns with the company’s methodology, delivering high-quality, insightful, and actionable reports.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to reporting processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Associate Director (AD) level or above experience in performance management, insights, or reporting roles and must have proven experience working across major infrastructure-based programmes.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and building digital reporting solutions from scratch.
  • Expertise in Power BI at an advanced level.
  • Strong understanding of performance measurement cycles and reporting processes.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and sponsors to meet reporting expectations.
