We’re Blind Veterans UK, a charity that helps vision-impaired ex-service people from every generation rebuild their lives after their sight has been affected. Founded in 1915, by Sir Arthur Pearson, to help the many veterans losing their sight after the First World War, we have over a century of experience providing the best care to our veterans.
Since then, we’ve provided support to tens of thousands of vision-impaired veterans, helping them to regain their independence. We are currently seeking an Assistant to Estates Surveyor to join our team in the South East on a permanent, full-time basis.

As an Assistant to Estates Surveyor, you will provide a full and comprehensive administrative service to the Estates Surveyor.
You will also act as the first point of contact for Beneficiaries and private tenants via telephone calls and emails, resolving or escalating queries as appropriate.
Liaise between building contractors and tenants in relation to planned and ongoing works
– Conduct research and compile information regarding contractors
– To be considered as an Assistant to Estates Surveyor, you will need:
– Administrative experience in an office environment
– Experience working with databases
– Knowledge of estate management and building terminology
Other organisations may call this role Assistant Surveyor, Junior Surveyor, Estates Administrator, Survey Administrator, Property Co-ordinator, Property Management Co-ordinator, Administrative Assistant, or Assistant Building Surveyor.
