We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join us at Huws Gray Oxford
We are made up of a number of brands, including Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI and Anglia Tool Centre to name a few. We rely on our Senior Management Accountants for thepreparation, development and improvement of financial and management reporting, including managment accounts preparation and general ledger tasks.Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Senior Management Accountant with Huws Gray:
Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts for the business down to division and branch level within tight deadlines
Maintain rigorous and robust balance sheet control reconciliations
Supporting the wider Finance team and the operations of the business – collaborating to ensure that financial information is accurate and complete
Building and maintaining an excellent relationship with stakeholders and colleagues and to support multi-site operations teams with ad hoc requests
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts records and spreadsheets
Assist with financial queries and help improve processes to improve understanding of costs and reduce the number of queries
Complete variance analysis on financial performance of costs against budget, prior year etc and provide regular updates to management
Deputise for the finance manager as and when required.
Identify and recommend areas for continuous development, and work with teams outside of finance to implement the necessary changes
Developing and coaching junior members of the teams
