Supplier Relationship Manager Are you looking to be part of a team driving the UK's journey to net zero? We're working with an organisation playing a pivotal role in delivering clean, sustainable energy solutions across the North West. They are investing in innovation and infrastructure to support regional decarbonisation and future energy needs — and they're looking for a Supplier Relationship Manager to join their Commercial team in the North West.
We currently have an opportunity for a Supplier Relationship Manager based in Stockport or Preston to join an award winning organisation within the energy sector.
This is a pivotal position within the Commercial Services team. The Supplier Relationship Manager will be responsible for embedding and delivering a robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategy, working across indirect categories within a regulated environment.
The role requires overseeing relationship strategy, commercial performance, and governance for critical supplier partnerships. You will play a key role in building supplier confidence, driving innovation, and ensuring our SRM approach is strategic, compliant, and adds measurable value across the business.
Drive supplier performance and innovation through SLA and KPI oversight
Champion governance and best practice in supplier contract management
Proven experience in Supplier Relationship Management within a regulated industry
Strong background in change management and transformation
High emotional intelligence – able to rebuild team trust and collaboration
The team has transitioned from IT to Procurement ownership – making change management essential
Deliver savings through strategic IT contract renewals and renegotiations
Enhance business assurance and risk controls
Execute and track objectives-based performance management for suppliers
