Full Job Description Technical Author (12 Month FTC)BristolUp to £37,000 DOE +

25Days Holidays + Bank Holidays + Private Healthcare + Pension Plan +Share Incentive Scheme + Half Day on Fridays + Hybrid + Other FlexibleBenefitsTechnical Author required for a leading technologymanufacturer who boast a fantastic reputation within their sector.Asan experienced Technical Author, you will be familiar with writingcontent that maximises product usability, is technically accurate andadheres to current industry legislation. You will be part of a teamthat manages the translation and review process, working with theirexternal translation providers and overseas offices. In addition toexcellent technical writing skills, you will demonstrate awell-rounded understanding of engineering principles, attention todetail and a willingness to learn new technologies.This is a fantasticopportunity to join a well-respected and well-establishedmanufacturing company. They invest in their employees with ongoingtraining and professional development opportunities.The Role:*Produce,develop and maintain clear and concise technicaldocumentation*Collaborate with engineers and managers*Produce andprovide illustrations and pictures where required*Test and update thewritten material with users*Ensure technical information is organised,managed and published as per the required timescales*Research, analyseand understand the technology and applications.The Person:*Experiencein a previous technical author / technical writing position*Arecognised technical authoring qualification would be highlyadvantageous*Experience in either the semiconductor,electro-mechanical or scientific sector will be highly advantageousand encouraged to apply
