At our client, a leading engineering company in the industry, we are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Engineer specialising in Power Systems Restoration, you will play a critical role in ensuring the uninterrupted flow of electricity to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the planning and execution of power systems restoration projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Conduct thorough analysis of power system faults and outages, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimise power system restoration strategies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practises, applying innovative approaches to enhance power system resilience.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Extensive experience in power systems restoration, with a deep understanding of electrical networks, substations, and control systems.
Proficient in power system analysis tools such as ETAP, PSS/E, or DIgSILENT.
Strong problem-solving skills, capable of quickly identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven leadership abilities, with the capability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
