Copello have partnered with an established cybersecurity solutions business based in Fareham, in the recruitment of a Business Analyst. Role responsibilities:

  • Create reports and visual aids to closely track and monitor KPIs
  • Work with different departments such as Billing, to communicate findings and trends
  • Update and distribute daily reports to help monitor and communicate business performance
  • Assist with forecasting processes through application of analysis
  • Data mining, using Google BigQuery
  • Assist with investigating operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes.
  • Help to identify trends in key areas of the business, and suggest potential changes in order to optimise performance.
  • Assist broader FP&A team with ad-hoc analysis relating to other key company metrics, marketing activity, pricing or product usage.
Requirements
  • Query / SQL / BigQuery experience
  • Excel / Google Sheets knowledge of an intermediate level
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • High level of administration, organisational and time management skills
  • A driven individual who has an eye for detail, is curious about the data they are working with and able to work in a fast paced environment.
Desirables:
  • 3+ years' experience working as an Analyst or equivalent analytical experience.
  • Experience working in a SaaS or similar environment
  • Previous Analyst experience from either a financial or business focus
  • Any previous analytical programming / coding experience may be helpful such as R or Python, although not essential
