This role will focus heavily on overseeing projects/programmes and ensuring the smooth delivery of services that meet the organisation's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of key IT projects and services, ensuring projects meet all scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations, communications, and fostering strong relationships.
  • Resource Management: Effectively allocate resources, ensuring that the right teams and tools are in place to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks and issues early on, proposing solutions to mitigate potential delays or challenges.
  • Progress Tracking & Reporting: Regularly compile reports on project status, KPIs, and financial progress, ensuring transparency and clear communication with senior management and clients.
  • Client-Focused Delivery: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure projects align with their objectives and vision. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and address any changes or challenges.
  • Project Evaluation & Sustainability: Continuously assess ongoing projects, providing feedback for improvements and evaluating long-term sustainability. Recommend strategies to optimise future projects.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience managing multiple IT projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with clients and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Ability to manage project finances, including budget tracking and cost control.
  • A solid background in resource management and allocation.
