Your role
We are seeking an ambitious and seasoned Account Manager to take this exhilarating opportunity within the Automotive industry This role offers you the chance to enjoy regular success by engaging with EMEA Vehicle Manufacturers and pivotal key accounts. The ideal candidate will excel in proactive communication, swift problem solving and will have the knack for spotting growth opportunities to foster long-term business expansion within these accounts.

We want our new Automotive Key Account Manager to continue to enable Pico Technology to provide an excellent level of service to our EMEA Vehicle Manufacturer customers.

Accountabilities include:
Manage the EMEA Automotive Vehicle Manufacturer (VM) Key Accounts, to ensure that we keep existing business, and win new customers to achieve a dominant market share of major and growing VM Accounts
Work with the Business Development Manager and Internal Sales Executive to ensure all inbound enquiries are routed effectively and expediently. This will include existing customers and new enquiries
Create and execute EMEA VM Account plans including organisational structure, key contacts and decision makers, existing and potential projects, and ensure a rolling project to retain and grow Pico’s business
Work closely with the Business Development Manager, Product Manager, and Applications Specialists to ensure that we have a product roadmap and backlog that meets the long-term needs of customers
Maintain high visibility for Pico within each Key Account and provide regular updates regarding competitors, and potential opportunities
Work with colleagues as necessary to ensure that Pico remains an approved supplier with a high customer-satisfaction rating

What we're looking for

We're on the hunt for someone awesome with experience dealing with Vehicle Manufacturers (VMs) and who knows the ropes in this field. You should thrive in contract negotiations, have a knack for seeing them through from start to finish, and enjoy building and maintaining relationships with customers.

We are really keen on seeing your track record of bringing in and building up business, especially in supplying workshop equipment for the automotive industry.

The successful candidate will be expected to travel to customer sites in the EMEA region, as well as travel to Pico’s Head Office in St Neots, Cambridge approximately once a month.
