Support speciality clinics with specific specialty tasks and point of care testing
Carry out nursing procedures including dressing changes
To provide clinical supervision to other staff, students

Alongside our two acute hospitals, we provide integrated health and social care services across a variety of settings, including community inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and within peoples own homes. We also offer primary care services, a range of specialist community services, and Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC).

As part of the National Community Diagnostics programme the Nightingale Hospital Exeter is opening a new Outpatient setting. Pathways from across a diverse range of specialities will be providing new 1 stop clinics with the aim of improving the overall experience for patients whilst delivering efficient safe clinical pathways. There will also be an expansion of our centre in line with the Community Diagnostic Hub programme, to provide respiratory, cardiology, ultrasound, and phlebotomy services.


The overall job purpose of the Registered Nurse in Buttercup is to ensure patients and clinicians are supported in the efficient and safe running of clinics whilst delivering highly focused patient centred care. 5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
