Business Transfer Agent - Commercial Property Valuer

£45,000 Basic Salary / £4,500 Car Allowance / £58,000 year 1 ON Target Earning potential – uncapped / Hours: Full time Monday to Friday

Location: Remote – must live within a commutable distance of Cumbria. You will be on the road often within this patch meeting business owners.

Business Transfer Agent - Commercial Property Valuer

Requirements of the role to include:

  • To take responsibility for the business within your allocated patch and sector.
  • To build the client base within your patch, prospecting for opportunities, working the database, and optimise given leads.
  • To visit and talk to clients about their businesses and its special features
  • To collect information about the property and take photographs.
  • To estimate the value of the property using the correct estimation calculations and processes.
  • To market and promote properties for sale.
  • To send out details of new businesses in the market to database contacts.
  • To advise clients about the buying and selling process.
  • To arrange and carry out the viewings of properties.
  • To represent the sellers in negotiations with prospective buyers.
  • To monitor the sales as they proceed and liaise with all interested parties including mortgage brokers, solicitors, surveyors and other agents.
  • To advise clients and help buyers to decide what they want to buy.
  • To make sure that a price is agreed that is acceptable to both the buyer and the seller.
  • To respond to queries via email and telephone.
  • To maintain administrative records.

Personal characteristics required to succeed in the role:

  • Experience valuing property and pitching to potential vendors why you are the best agent to sell their property / business.
  • Experience in business transfer an advantage.
  • A self-starter capable of working to the highest standard remotely from home.
  • A professional with high standards and expectations for themselves.
  • Driven, hardworking, inquisitive and resilient.
  • Sales and service oriented.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Great numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Team player and able to work independently.
  • Target driven to realise rewarding commissions.
