Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily business activities, ensuring efficiency, productivity and excellence in quality in their operational area. Responsibilities include optimizing processes, managing resources, implementing strategies, and fostering teamwork. The operations manager will also be aware of budgeting, including supporting building of the budget for the DC in each financial year, performance evaluation, and liaise with various departments to achieve organizational goals. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential for this role. 
Key Responsibilities:
Support in the overall leadership of the Distribution Centres Network.
Deputise for Distribution Centres Manager.
Provide day to day guidance to other senior leaders across the distribution network.
Challenge, through a customer lens, the performance, and activities of teams on site.
Process Optimization:
Streamlining and improving operational processes to enhance efficiency.
Resource Management:
Allocating and managing resources effectively to meet organizational objectives.
Leading and motivating teams to achieve performance goals and fostering a positive work environment.
Strategic Planning:
Developing and implementing operational strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
Budgeting:
Creating and managing budgets to ensure financial targets are met while maintaining operational excellence.
Quality Control:
Implementing quality assurance processes to meet or exceed product/service standards.
Performance Evaluation:
Assessing team and process performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective measures.
Liaising with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
Identifying and mitigating operational risks to minimize disruptions.
Evaluating and implementing technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Reporting:
Generating and analysing reports to track key performance indicators and make informed decisions.
Regulatory Compliance: 
Ensure that all H&S and Environmental responsibilities for all accredited ISO audits are complete
Risk assessment and SOPs are reviewed on a 12 monthly basis
All team members are trained for their roles under taken
Cost Reduction Initiatives:
Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining high service quality.
Implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize operational expenses.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in distribution centre management and continuous improvement roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
