Reporting to the Finance and Operations Manager, the Finance and Operations Assistant will assist in managing the financial operations in the business.

This role provides critical support across the business - primarily split between Finance and Operations. Processing supplier payments, bookkeeping and bank reconciliations for Operational Expenditure using Spendesk and Xero
Drive innovation with smart use of technology and automation to improve our finance operations
Working with the CX team on monthly billing, preparing customer invoices and statements
Balance sheet management and monthly reconciliations
Assisting with monthly reconciliation of merchant/affiliate receipts

Prior experience in finance operations, credit control and ideally experience of running and improving financial close processes
Excellent numerical skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions).
Familiarity with accounting software (Xero) and expense tools (Spendesk) would be beneficial
Exposure to financial services, rewards industry, or SaaS products
Strong analytical skills - whether demonstrated through academic or professional experience, you’ll be at ease with numbers and enjoy solving problems that present numerically
Great communication skills - able to effectively convey messages to our partners and senior stakeholders within the business
Ability to prioritise across multiple projects and deliverables in a very high pace environment
