As the new electrician, you will be required to work closely with the maintenance team and the broader functions of the site.
This role will require someone who is flexible and willing to work Mon-Fri across a day shift roster.
The site you would be working at, is purpose-built for taking fresh chicken meat processing to produce a range of fully cooked products such as nuggets, burgers, schnitzels other enhanced goods. The site maintains world-class quality standards and ensures food safety but also ensures that the plant is a clean and safe place to work.
Fresh meat is delivered to the site daily and processed by frying, cooking, freezing, and packing before being dispatched to a number of key clients including Ingham products in the retail space.

Incremental increase for shift loading
Reduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtime through effective planned maintenance activities
Assisting in developing and introducing maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholders
Ensure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices in all repairs and maintenance activities
Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks
Previous experience working in food manufacturing or FMCG
South Australian Electrical license
Industrial experience in installations, fault finding, repairs, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
PLC, safety circuit, and control system experience
Ability to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance
