Job Description:
  1. Excellent opportunity for a HGV mechanic to join a public sector organization that will offer you a varied and technically interesting role.
  2. Work within a highly skilled team responsible for maintaining and supporting a fleet of vehicles for Recycling, Cleansing, and Parks Services.
  3. Main focus on HGV vehicles while also supporting other services with a wide range of fleet, including diesel alternatives to reduce carbon emissions.
  4. Opportunity to gain qualifications such as C&G electrical vehicle maintenance and specialist manufacturer training.
  5. Ideal candidate will have experience in an HGV mechanic role and hold a level 3 qualification. Commercial vehicle technicians or LGV backgrounds are encouraged to apply with full training provided.
Role Overview:
  1. Service and repair a variety of HVG's.
  2. Overtime available.
  3. 37 Hours a week, Monday to Friday.
  4. In-house and outhouse training provided.
  5. Opportunity to gain qualifications in electric vehicles.

The ideal candidate will:

  1. Have experience as an HGV mechanic.
  2. Hold a level 3 qualification.
