Senior BMS Commissioning Engineer

Location: London and M25 Area

The Role

As a BMS Commissioning Engineer , you will:

  • Commission and test BMS systems , ensuring all components (including HVAC, lighting, and security integrations) are installed and operational to specification.
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and validation of BMS systems, delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Configure and program systems such as Trend, Tridium, Schneider , or Siemens to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Document commissioning activities , including test reports, as-built drawings, and checklists.
  • Provide training and technical support to clients and stakeholders on system operation and maintenance.
What Were Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience commissioning BMS systems, ideally with Trend, Tridium, Schneider , or Siemens.
  • A strong understanding of building management systems , including HVAC and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet).
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications, such as BCIA01, 02 & 03 or specific manufacturer certifications (e.g., Trend, Tridium).
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and hands-on experience with commissioning tools/software.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a focus on teamwork.
