Leading Financial Services client is now looking for a talented Head of Project Delivery on a permanent basis. This role is offering a base of £110,000 (potentially negotiable) + strong bonus, pension and car allowance and it is based out of their office on the Southeast coast (hybrid working available).

The Head of Project Delivery will be tasked with establishing and maintaining best practices. Developing an environment that allows Project Managers to thrive. Oversee all Project Delivery across the group and happy to help with delivery when needed. The head of Project Delivery will also be required to work closely with the PMO function to ensure high standards of governance and health are maintained across the business. Lastly, this individual must have excellent resource and budget management skills.

To be considered for this role you will need some of the following:

  • Significant experience within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Experience managing large teams of Project Managers. As well as proven experience nurturing and developing talent.
  • Must have an excellent background in Resource and Budget Management. Direct budget responsibilities in excess of £30m.
  • Experience overseeing a wide range of project & programme workstreams.
  • Previous experience developing robust Portfolio dashboards and KPIs.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with the PMO function to help in defining processes & documentation and ensuring all have adequate controls.
  • Comfortable supporting PMs in their projects, providing cover where required and have the ability to pick up any aspect of the project when required.
  • Happy to question and challenge peers & managers when processes and procedures do not meet expectations.
  • Has exceptional leadership skills and is able to influence cross-functional departmental leaders in a particular direction.
  • A team-builder and team player, who can work comfortably in a highly collaborative setting.
