TPF Recruitment are excited to be partnered with a leading chartered accountancy firm in canterbury who are looking for a Personal Tax Manager to join their team. You will work in a medium sized, very successful tax team of around 15 tax staff, providing a varied personal tax service to a range of individuals, directors and high net worth individuals.
Have oversight of all personal tax clients across your allocated portfolio.
Be responsible for all day to day tax compliance affairs of the clients in your portfolio, ensuringprofessional standards are met.
Identify and consult with colleagues and the Tax Partner on complex technical and risk matters,whilst exercising judgement within agreed parameters.
Provide advisory and planning service across CGT, IHT and Trusts.
Support junior members of staff and review their work.
ACCA / ACA / ATT or CTA qualified.
Previous experience within personal tax compliance and planning experience a bonus.
Solid experience of working within an accountancy practice.
Ideally 5+ years’ experience of working within Personal Tax.
