A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a person to join our client in Belfast who specialises in International Ocean Freight Services along with general Freight Forwarding activities.
Our client has become one of the most successful International Ocean Freight providers in Northern Ireland and they are looking to hire a General Manager/ Senior Freight Forwarder
The candidate hired for this role will be responsible for the overall delivery and quality of the businesses services whilst ensuring the customer experience is of the highest level.
You must have a strong working knowledge of the Northern Ireland market as well as a strong understanding of the Deep Sea Freight Forwarding sector. Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are always followed
Management of Import/Export Team
Setting & Monitoring KPIs and completing Management reporting
Monitoring Customer Service Satisfaction
Must have a minimum of 5 years deep sea freight experience and a background of working in NI / UK
Planning and forecasting.
Freight Forwarding knowledge & experience of Deep-Sea Ocean Freight (Exports & Imports)
Effective management and delegation skills
Private Medical Cover
