Quest Employment are searching for an experienced Accounts professional who is seeking a better work/life balance without the compromise in compensation.   • Annual salary reviews.
  • Training - full study support package is available for ACA or ACCA students. The firm is an ICAEW Authorised Training Employer and ACCA Approved Employer.
The Role / Responsibilities: Client turnovers range from small OMBs to medium-sized groups with turnovers of up to £55m.
  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with a wide range of turnover in a wide range of sectors.
  • Preparation of business and corporate tax computations.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.
  • Liaising with clients to collect documentation and information.
Qualifications / Requirements: We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and who does not require any training on the job.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in practice in all aspects of accounting, taxation, management and compliance.
  • ACA / ACCA Qualified / Part-Qualified.
  • Experience of OMBs, Medium-sized business accounts, including the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Flexible and proactive approach with the ability to solve problems using own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills and IT skills, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to check work for accuracy and have good attention to detail.
  • Ability and will to travel to client's premises
