Transport Company. Our client is a leading transport company. They are looking for a corporate commercial lawyer to join their in house legal team for a 6-9 month period . Successful individuals will be expected to spend 3-4 days per week in their London office, with the remainder working from home. The assignment is to start ASAP .
The successful individual will be joining a close knit, friendly and collegiate legal team and can expect to be involved in a range of corporate and commercial matters. Providing accurate and concise legal advice to Procurement and IT teams
Drafting commercial contracts across all areas of the business (including IT and general procurement), with a particular emphasis on IT contracts
Advise and n egotiate on supplier’s standard terms, particularly SaaS terms, software maintenance and support agreements, payment services and IT hardware purchase and maintenance contracts
Provide legal advice to the business regarding required contractual terms and compliance with UK GDPR
Supporting on corporate M&A matters , including drafting and negotiating legal terms
Upwards of 4 years’ experience in handling a broad range of corporate and commercial matters (specifically those mentioned above)
A strong Private Practice background with experience working within a fast-paced In House Legal Team
A willingness to work as part of a cohesive legal team
Due to the urgency of the requirement, lawyers should be available at short notice or immediately .
