Role: Systems Engineer - Aerospace Location: Cheltenham (4 days on-site, 1 remote)
Our client are a world-leading provider of jet and turboprop engines, as well as integrated systems for commercial, military, business, and general aviation aircraft. They are seeking a number of skilled engineering to join them to support on crucial projects at their state of the art facility in Bishops Cleeve.
Demonstrate proficiency in high-voltage environments, applying electrical engineering principles to ensure the safety and reliability of systems.
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, promoting the adoption of agile and scrum methodologies for project execution.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and project managers, to drive successful project outcomes.
Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Write Test Procedures and test scripts Ensure that all artefacts are reviewed, approved, and stored in accordance with project planning documents
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in aerospace systems verification, with a proven track record of leading teams through complex projects.
Deep understanding of ARP4754 guidelines and other relevant aerospace regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing project requirements.
