Multitask Recruitment Solutions have an exciting opportunity for a well established Company in the Burnley area.

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Full time Production Supervisor:

The job:

* Utilising Labour in an effective way to ensure performance.

* Be the Production contact in Production Co-Ordinator absence.

* Be the first point of call for Production information from the Line Operative

* Ensure communication to Operators is effective and ensure feedback in return is understood

* Ensure all required start up checks are completed to the correct standard.

* Ensure daily reports are completed to a high standard and sent to relevant people.

* Drive the Company Lean programme to promote idea and Team involvement and ownership

* Ensure standards are met consistently in hygiene and general house-keeping.

* Support Production Co-Ordinator, Manager to ensure stability within Department.

What we are looking for:

* Demonstrate self-awareness, through reflection and drive own personal development plan.

* Be receptive to new approaches and ideas.

* Take responsibility for own actions.

* Accept feedback and be willing to learn from mistakes.

* Able to work autonomously

* Able to work as part of the Production Leadership Team, adding value through effective Teamwork

* Be an Ambassador for Manufacturing Excellence and Continuous Improvements.

* Lead by example, always ensuring we are compliant with agreed standards (Internal and Customer specifications), safeguarding product quality in line with Customer requirements

* Ensure required Quality checks are understood and completed to a high standard, dealing with and investigating any non-conformances in a pro-active way to prevent risk of reoccurrence.

* Experience of Leading a Team in a manufacturing environment

* Understanding of manufacturing processes

* Computer literate.

* Must be flexible and will be required to work Overtime to suit the business needs

* Can do Attitude

* 7am start (days) Overtime available to suit the business needs
