Changing Social is renowned for adoption and change management, with a particular focus on Microsoft 365, Viva, Power Platform and of course, Copilot. Following on from 6 years of double-digit growth and external growth capital, Changing Social are looking to expand its capabilities into security and governance for AI. We are seeking an innovative senior leader who will help position us as the go-to partner for AI governance, security, and compliance, driving excellence in cloud strategy and helping our customer become AI ready .

The Head of Cloud Strategy and AI Governance will be part of the senior management team responsible for the strategy, design and the development of a new practice area within the business, “Cloud Strategy and AI Governance”. This new practice area at Changing Social, has been created to lead and accelerate our customers on their journey to become AI ready. For us to achieve this, you will be playing a key role in driving the company’s vision for AI readiness, which includes the development of services, representing and positioning Changing Social as a leader in AI Governance and cloud readiness for enterprise generative AI. It’s essential that you have a deep knowledge of Microsoft and their strategic partner programmes in particular FastTrack, JumpStart and the Microsoft Commerce Incentive programmes.

As part of the Management Team, you will be responsible for setting the strategy, direction, rhythm of business and establish ways of working for the overall practice area to ensure that the practice can deliver in collaboration with other parts of the business where additional skillsets may need to be utilised.
You will be responsible for developing a roadmap for growth to support the expansion of the business and the practice area. Collaborate with senior leadership to align cloud and AI governance strategies with Changing Social’s overall business objectives and key results, ensuring the company's competitive advantage in AI and cloud technologies.

Whilst we appreciate that security and compliance are laying the foundations for AI readiness, you have an opportunity to creative to stand-out from our competitors.
You will work directly with the Managing Director and the Commercial Director to develop a go-to-market strategy and approach exploiting our current and existing sales funnels.
Work with the marketing team to take these services to market, creating strong go-to-market strategies that position Changing Social as the trusted provider for AI governance and cloud services.
Evangelise AI governance and security best practices by actively participating in public speaking engagements, conferences, and through strategic content creation. If you are or have ambitions to become a Microsoft MVP, you will have support from the leadership.

Build and leverage your professional network to establish partnerships and increase Changing Social’s visibility in the AI and cloud space.
Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly those related to Microsoft AI technologies, and ensure that Changing Social’s offerings reflect the latest advancements in AI, security, and governance.

Over time, to provide a clear plan on expected utilisation and delivery capabilities of the practice in line with the rest of Changing Social’s delivery team, to allow effective planning in marketing, sales, delivery, and leadership.
To advise and consult on our own internal ways of working in the cloud and AI space, to ensure that we practice what we preach with first-hand experience on the products and services that we offer to our customers.

Build trusted, dependable relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners, ensuring that you are seen as a go-to leader for cloud and AI governance solutions.
Enthusiasm: Lead with passion and energy, inspiring your team and clients with your commitment to AI governance and security excellence.
Extensive experience in cloud strategy and AI governance, with a specific focus on Microsoft technologies (Azure, Microsoft Copilot, identity and access management, security, and compliance).
Proven track record of leading AI governance and cloud security initiatives for large-scale clients, ensuring solutions meet both business and regulatory requirements.
Thought leadership in AI governance, with experience in public speaking, thought leadership content creation, and participation in key industry events.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build a practice, with a focus on growing a business unit from the ground up, mentoring talent, and fostering a high-performance culture.
While Microsoft MVP status is not required, we would welcome applications from the MVP Community with allowances made to accommodate MVP commitments.

At least one Microsoft certification in each of the following areas: Azure, Microsoft 365, and Security.
