Equipment Training Specialist

Job Description
Our client is seeking an engaging and charismaticEquipment Training Specialistto join their team and make a real impact. Youll be travelling across the UK, visiting dealerships/workshops to deliver training on newly installed, cutting-edge garage equipment. From one-on-one sessions to group demonstrations, youll be ensuring that technicians and staff feel confident and skilled with the new tools and equipment at their disposal.
This role isnt just about imparting knowledge; its about bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in helping their clients get the most from their equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel across the UK to dealerships/workshops, delivering hands-on training sessions for newly installed equipment, such asWheel Alignment Systems, Tyre Changers, Wheel Balancers, and Drive-through Inspection Equipment.
- Adapt training methods to suit different learning styles, making technical information accessible and engaging.
- Work closely with installation and technical teams to ensure seamless handovers and comprehensive training.
- Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing clients confidence and enthusiasm for their new equipment.
- Offer post-training support, addressing follow-up questions and providing troubleshooting assistance when necessary.
- Collect feedback from trainees to continually enhance training content and delivery methods.
What Youll Need:
- Automotive Background: You have experience in the automotive industry, with a good understanding of technical equipment,particularly geometry equipment and its applications in a garage setting.
- Technical Aptitude: Youre comfortable with the mechanics of garage equipment and able to answer in-depth questions on functionality and maintenance.
- Engaging Personality: This isnt a dry desk job Youre someone who can bring energy to a room, connect with people, and make technical training enjoyable.
- Travel-Ready: Youll be on the road frequently, so flexibility and a love for travel are key. A location close to the M1 is ideal to make travel easier across the UK.
