Electrical Testing Engineer
As an Electrical Testing Engineer, you will report to the Supervisor / Contract Manager, and you are the first point of contact between the business and our client. You must have good written and oral communication skills and have a high level of technical knowledge across the electrical industry. Working hours are Monday-Friday 08.00-17.00 with weekend work and overtime available upon request.
Main Duties:
# Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing
# Diagnosing and rectifying faults
# Carry out electrical remedial works
# Undertake new electrical inspections
# Action reactive electrical works
# Complete emergency lighting inspections and repairs
# Carry out company works as required and to desired standards
# Provide the highest level of customer care and always promote a good external perception of the company
# Comply with company procedures and policies to ensure smooth delivery of our service
# Produce reporting on time and to agreed standards
# Adhere to the company's quality management system and recycle correctly and responsibly

Experience & Skills:
UK Driving Licence (required)
Experience in electrical repair, maintenance, servicing & installations, preferably within the public sector
A sound knowledge of tools, equipment & materials common to the Electrical Trade
Current Trade Qualifications
Good communication skills, both verbal & written
The ability to interpret schematics and electrical drawings
IT literate
A commitment to great customer service
