My client are a leading Midlands based Higher Education institution, looking for a new Head of IT.
They are committed to delivering innovative solutions and enhancing operations through cutting-edge technology. Also seeking a dynamic Head of IT Infrastructure to lead their technological initiatives and ensure a robust and efficient IT environment.

As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and scalability. You will lead a team of IT professionals, collaborating closely with other departments to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the company's IT infrastructure, aligning them with business goals.
Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and efficient operations.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, solutions, and upgrades to enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and develop solutions to support their objectives.
Manage IT budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships effectively to achieve cost-effective and high-quality IT solutions.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
