Join our client’s industry-leading team as an Electrical Design Engineer or Senior Electrical Design Engineer and make a real impact

What you'll do:

  • Develop detailed electrical designs for new and refurbished buildings.
  • Assist senior engineers in feasibility studies and concept development.
  • Collaborate with other team members on design, calculations, and project administration.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections.
  • Utilise specialised software for calculations and design drawings.
  • Select and specify electrical equipment and ensure systems meet regulations.

Who we're looking for:

  • Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent) and experience as an Incorporated Engineer with IET or CIBSE alignment.
  • Ability to design electrical systems from concept to detail, covering various aspects like lighting, power distribution, and communication.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Building Regulations Part L compliance.
  • Experience with Amtech and Microsoft Office suite.

Senior Role requires

  • Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent) and experience as an Incorporated Engineer with IET or CIBSE alignment.
  • Ability to design electrical systems from concept to detail (BSRIA BG6 Stage 4A).
  • Experience with low voltage distribution, lighting, power supplies, fire alarms, and ICT cabling.
  • Proficiency in Amtech, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Technical software expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills.
