Job Description

Join us as we work to protect the environment, champion social justice and human rights and make the work world safer through supply chain management. We are looking for an experienced New Sales Manager to join our team, bringing great drive and motivation to new business acquisition.

The role can be home-based or hybrid (Abingdon office).

You will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and achieving set revenue targets, by expanding our client base within defined market segments, and actively promoting Achilles’ value proposition.

By using and maintaining market intelligence you will identify specific target accounts and prospective customers in line with our plans. You will create and convert a stable and sustainable pipeline with mid and long-term sales cycles through pro-active prospecting for new customers and opportunity management. You will be establishing relationships with new customers through direct engagement, understanding their needs and how we can match or exceed their expectations, with consistent articulation of Achilles’s value as a leading provider of supplier management solutions.

We are looking for great candidates with drive and motivation who will represent Achilles with high professional standards, passion and commitment to inspire others with their enthusiasm and energy. You will be able to handle difficulties or obstacles with positivity and resilience, to find great solutions. You will need to be able to manage multiple demands, and plan and organise your time against priorities, balancing quality standards with deadlines. You will be self-motivated to focus on the customer and achieving revenue results, with a demonstrable track record of managing and closing sales with values $250k+ and consistently achieving annual sales targets.
