Maintenance Engineer
Working Hours: Full Time, Mon-Thursday 7.Our client is a leading investment casting foundry specialising in a variety of materials, including stainless steels, alloys, and aluminium. Their business thrives on creativity, innovation, and a commitment to quality, which has established their solid reputation.
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join with our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical and mechanical planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repairs of our specialist foundry equipment, including furnaces, injection moulding presses, and various shotblasting equipment.
Maintenance, service, and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment on site
# Support manufacturing/production team to achieve targets and optimize machine run times
# Prioritize maintenance requests and carry out planned, preventative maintenance effectively
# Support plant improvement projects
# Liaise with on-site contractors
# Assist in training and development of apprentices

Time-served engineer with an electrical bias and strong mechanical maintenance capabilities. Ideally qualified to a minimum HNC standard with a good knowledge of 415V electrical skills. Proficient in mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair. Welding/fabrication skills desirable. Experience in PAT testing preferred. Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment. Adherence to health and safety and company policies.
