We are looking for a Treasurer to support us here at Bedhampton Community Centre CIO. Our treasurer can volunteer from home or from the Community Centre office. Report on the financial stability of the community centre by overseeing, approving and presenting budgets, accounts and financial statements to the Trustees and the Annual General Meeting.
Ensuring that bills have been paid and overseeing the banking and accounting (completed by the centre manager and the finance officer)
Liaising with paid staff and volunteers about financial matters
Ensuring that the yearly accounts are prepared and disclosed in the form required by funders and statutory bodies (eg. Ensuring that the accounts are scrutinised in the manner required (independent examination or audit) and any recommendations are implemented
You will need to be able to use internet banking, and familiarity with QuickBooks would be a bonus.
Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial management
