What you'll do

As an Assistant Relationship Director, you’ll act as a contact for a portfolio of clients, processing customer instructions and requests. You’ll be inputting customer information onto our systems accurately and in a timely manner and acting in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards. We’ll look to you to make sure that the correct policies and procedures are followed at all times.

In this key role, you’ll generate new business through relationships with both prospective and existing clients. You’ll also be expected to support management in achieving the agreed targets through the development of client relationships and quality customer referrals. 

You’ll also be:
Supporting managers to achieve growth targets
Handling taking on new clients and holding meetings with customers
Maintaining and updating client records to show any changes in their status
Contributing to the coordination of workflow to deliver client satisfaction
Working as part of a unified team and supporting other team members
The skills you'll need

To excel in this role, you’ll need to have experience of providing first class customer service. You’ll also need excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with colleagues and interacting with clients. We’re also looking for someone with good numeracy skills and a strong educational background.

You’ll also be expected to have:
General accounting experience with knowledge of business applications
Good problem solving and decision-making skills
An awareness of risk in a financial environment
The ability to work unsupervised with strong levels of accuracy
