(As a Care Assistant, you get to support and deliver care to our residents by assisting them with their daily needs.
Building strong relationships is the key in this role, as well as supporting the health and well-being of our residents. Training and development
You will get all the support and training needed, if you wish to become a Senior Care Assistant. You will work under guidance from our Registered Nurses, carrying out more complex care activities, as well as taking more responsibility for residents around the home.

Resident Support Assistant (Care Homes)
As a Resident Support Assistant (RSA), you will have the important role of helping to support and improve our residents’ experience within our care homes. Duties involve catering and housekeeping work, such as the preparation and serving of food and drink, as well as cleaning rooms and communal areas.

Domiciliary Care Assistant
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will be based in our retirement villages and provide care to our residents in their homes. The role involves helping them with practical tasks, such as getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing and hygiene, food preparation and cleaning, whilst building strong relationships and ensuring they can remain independent.

You will get all the support and training to develop in your role, carry out more complex activities and take on more responsibility around our villages.
Being in one of our catering teams means you’ll be providing hot, healthy and satisfying food - not only for residents, but also for visitors and your fellow colleagues. Head Chefs, Sous Chefs, Commis Chefs, Catering Assistants and Kitchen Porters.
Training and development
There is plenty of opportunity to perfect your skills and room for career development to work your way up the ranks within the catering team.
Your tasks include preparing the grounds, tending gardens, and cultivating serene outdoor spaces. You'll contribute to residents' well-being through therapeutic gardening and the provision of maintenance support in care homes or sheltered accommodation.

There are always development opportunities within this role; the Trust will always endeavour to support you in additional learning through its in-house training team, or using external trainers, where necessary.

Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care team is committed to the spiritual well-being of residents, their families and colleagues. They offer a distinctive service where people can share their concerns, joys and frustrations, regardless of their religious affiliation or other beliefs.
Our Pastoral Care teams are usually ordained or lay members of a mainstream church. They work closely with the Care teams to support and encourage the residents’ pastoral, spiritual and religious care needs.
We offer a diverse range of apprenticeship opportunities at the Trust. From getting started in the Care sector with a Level 2 Apprentice Care Assistant, to supporting our staff to develop their careers; offering a opportunities such as, the Level 4 Trainee Nurse Associate position.
