London, United Kingdom Bank Partners Full time

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) stands as one of the most intricate NHS trusts in the UK, serving a vast and diverse population. Our commitment extends to delivering academically-led acute and specialist services, catering to individuals from the local community, across the United Kingdom, and internationally.
Our Vision: We aspire to provide top-quality patient care, excel in education, and lead in world-class research. Operating across eight sites, UCLH offers first-class acute and specialist services, including:
University College Hospital (incorporating the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Wing)
National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery
Royal National ENT and Eastman Hospitals
Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine
University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre
The Hospital for Tropical Diseases
University College Hospitals at Westmoreland Street
Our areas of specialization include women's health, cancer treatment, infection management, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, and oral diseases. Supporting these specialized services are world-class support facilities, encompassing critical care, imaging, nuclear medicine, and pathology.
Pharmacy at UCLH: UCLH Pharmacy is integral to our mission, providing a comprehensive range of services. Our overarching goal is to ensure the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines throughout the Trust, while actively contributing to education, training, and research initiatives. Engaging at every stage of the medicines' lifecycle, our Pharmacy Department negotiates contracts for medicine procurement, assesses outcomes in clinical settings, and collaborates at all intermediary stages.
Collaboration and Centralization: We maintain close working relationships with the local hospital pharmacy departments at the Royal Free and The Whittington Hospitals. This collaboration has led to the centralization of key backroom operational services, such as manufacturing, repacking, education, and training. Simultaneously, it allows us to focus local clinical services on directly enhancing patient care outcomes.
At UCLH, we are at the forefront of healthcare, combining expertise, research, and a commitment to excellence to better the health and well-being of those we serve.
Job Purpose: The Senior Rotational Pharmacy Technician will play a pivotal role in supporting the provision of pharmacy services to patients and staff across all UCLH sites. This involves ensuring economic efficiency and timely service delivery while adhering to established departmental policies and procedures. The role also requires active participation in audit, risk management, and clinical governance initiatives, contributing to the safe and effective management of medicines for both staff and patients at UCLH.
